Become a Volunteer!

Volunteers provide key supplementary support for the staff of the Boys and Girls Club. Volunteers make a tremendous difference in the lives of our youth and are vital to the success of our programs and special events.

How can you become a volunteer? Becoming a Volunteer is EASY!

  • Complete the Online Volunteer Interest Form (tbd)
  • Meet us in a brief interview
  • Wait a few days while we complete a reference and criminal history check
  • Attend an Orientation

We now have two ways for volunteers to get involved!
  1. PROGRAM/CLUB VOLUNTEERS
  2. SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS

Program/Club volunteers play a crucial role in our day-to-day Club activities by helping full-time staff in a variety of ways, including coaching, tutoring, or leading specific programs. Special Event volunteers help us plan and implement fund-raising events.

All Program/Club Volunteers will be asked to:
  • Complete the Online Volunteer Interest Form (tbd)
  • Meet us in a brief interview Pass a background check to ensure volunteer suitability
  • Attend a comprehensive volunteer orientation
  • Regularly work in our Clubs a minimum of three hours per week

Our VOLUNTEER CORPS consists of individuals interested in rewarding volunteer opportunities with a lesser time commitment. One to two structured volunteer activities, such as Club cleanups, special events and fund raisers, are scheduled each month.
